Shahrukh khan is an famous Indian film actor. He was bown on 2 November 1965, New Delhi India. He lives in Bandra Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is a popular producer and television host too. He is also known as "SRK" and "King Khan". He has done more than 100 hindi films. He got approx fourteen Filmfare Awards. Undoubtedly, we can say he is one of the most successful film stars in the world.

Family Background: 

Shahrukh Khan was born on 2nd of november 1965 in New Delhi. He belongs to a muslim family.

Father:

His father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian independence activist in Peshawar, British India. His father moved to New Delhi in 1948 during partition of India. 

Mother:

Shahrukh's mother, Lateef Fatima, was the daughter of a senior government engineer.

Shahrukh's parents get married in 1959. Khan grew up in the Rajendra Nagar eighbourhood of Delhi. His father had several businesses which include a restaurant.Family lived a middle-class life in a rented apartments.He did his schooling from St. Columba's School in central Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in sports such as hockey and football. He also received the school's highest award, the Sword of Honour. 

He acted in stage plays and received praise for his imitations of Bollywood actors, of which his favourites were Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Mumtaz.
